Omnivision: Art Across Boundaries

Although we are a Plein Air group, many of us do other types of art. "Omnivision" recognizes this, and provides a unique opportunity for members to exhibit work across artistic boundaries - plein air, studio, abstract to representation.

This is a non-juried show open to all SOCALPAPA members. First come, first serve! We will be accepting the FIRST 125 paintings submitted. Large to small, representation to abstraction, plein or studio. Go beyond the limits of genre and media! This is your chance to enter and display up to TWO works in any of these 5 Categories!

Last year this show was featured in local print publications - plus the LA TIMES! - and received praise for its wide range of styles , genre, and quality of work. Don't miss out! We are limited this year to  the first 125 paintings. Read the prospectus for more information.

Meet the Judge of Awards for this year's show: MARK FEHLMAN will be awarding outstanding works submitted in all categories. 

Mark is a Signature Artist Member of the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association (LPAPA), recognized for both figurative and landscape subjects that feature strong composition, well defined value relationships, and vibrant color. His work has been included in the California Art Club “Gold Medal” show, Pepperdine’s Weisman Museum, and the annual Maynard Dixon Country Show in Carmel, Utah.

There is still time to enter the show!  All Members are welcome to submit up to  TWO PAINTINGS in any of the 5 categories.  Larger work as well as plein air or studio art are welcome.
