About this event
This two-day painting workshop is for both experienced painters and those new to plein air painting. Francis DiFronzo uses his unique method to begin an outdoor painting using acrylic paint to swiftly capture the outdoor scene in a medium that dries quickly. He then transitions to oil paint to refine and complete the artwork. Francis spends time with each student, tailoring his lessons to support each students’ skill level and individual needs. The goal is for students to experience the joy of plein air painting by learning a process that is frustration-free, repeatable, and rewarding.
