Saturday, December 27, 8am Los Rios Street, San Juan Capistrano

Take the 5 Fwy South and exit at Ortega Hwy 74. Go Right at the end of the offramp onto Del Obispo, 

past the Old Mission Road and wind around past the tracks and Los Rios Street, 

go one block and go Right on Adelanto,go all the way down past the paid parking lot 

to the free 4 hour limit gravel parking lot around the corner on Ramos Street. Park and walk down Ramos to Los Rios Street. 

Paint the cottages, or views down the street or Train Depot and Restaurant.

Restrooms by the paid parking lot behind the Montaña Adobe or just south of the track crossing.

Friday, January 2, 9 am, Crystal Cove Cottages, Newport Coast

On the Pacific Coast Hwy, 1/2 mile south of the Newport Coast Drive intersection -- park in the Los Trancos parking lot on the side of PCH opposite the private gate. Pay online about $15 in the parking lot.  Those with a California Golden Bear Senior free Pass, put your card on the dash. Take the $2 shuttle across PCH and down to the cottages, or walk down to beach access from the parking lot through the tunnel. Restrooms in two places. Paint the beach and bluffs south or paint north toward the houses under construction. Beachcomber restaurant available for lunch, or eat up above at the Shake Shack.

Saturday, January 10, 9am Yorba Linda Regional Park, Yorba Linda

Take the 91 Fwy East towards Riverside and exit at Imperial Hwy. Go L (North) under the freeway and take an immediate R on East LaPalma Ave. Go about 2 miles and R into the entrance. $5 entry fee at the gate. Park in the lot by the lake for water views. Restrooms by the lot.

Friday, January 16, 8 am, Laguna Beach, Crescent Bay.

Take PCH into Laguna Beach and go toward the beach on the northernmost of the three Cliff Drive entrances, go down toward the beach and park on the street above the ramp at the bend in the street that goes down the the sand. Restrooms on the beach at the bottom of the ramp. Paint North toward the cliffs or Seal Rock or South cliffs with the palms. 

Friday, January 24, 9 am, MENTOR PAINTOUT at Aliso Beach (aka, Aliso Creek Beach)

2 Monterey St. Laguna Beach. Denise will be on the beach ready to answer any questions you have about the club or about plein air painting, and on hand if you would like any feedback as you paint! Metered parking available; restrooms and a cafe nearby. 

In case of heavy rain, this event will be cancelled. 

Friday, January 30, 9 am, Laguna Beach Divers Cove, at the Rock Pile, or Split Rock

Take PCH into Laguna Beach, turn into Heisler Park at Cliff Drive at the Laguna Art Museum and use metered parking by the flagpole in the middle of the Park. Paint views of the Rocks below the flagpole, or paint either direction N or S up or down the beach. Restrooms nearby.
