Saturday August 1, 9:00am
Caspers Wilderness Park

Take the 5 Fwy south to the Ortega Hwy 74 exit East towards Lake Elsinore. Go a few miles past Antonio Pkwy, look for the Caspers Park sign on the Left. Pay the $5 weekend fee at the gate. Continue across the creek bed, and either go left at the next intersection up the hill to the buildings for an above view, or continue right into the lower parking lot for sycamore trees views. Restrooms in the buildings at the hilltop, or restrooms in the lower parking lot.

Cliff Drive view of Hotel Laguna and PCH

Take 133 Fwy south into Laguna Beach, just past the Festival of Arts/Pageant of the Masters, around the corner take the first right up Cliff Drive to the metered parking at the top of the hill. Views of the Hotel on PCH looking south. Restrooms are down in Main Beach on PCH.

"Urban" Demo by Renae Wang, Laguna Beach Ruby’s Diner

From downtown Laguna Beach go south a mile or so to 30622 S. Coast Hwy. The art deco Ruby's Diner is just 3 blocks south of Nye Place. Park in their lot. Renae is a teacher at LCAD. She will be demonstrating her urban painting skills. Eat at the Restaurant and paint the vintage cars or the building after the Demo. Restrooms in the Diner.

Saturday, August 22, 6:00pm
Dana Point Harbor, Conservation Park

Park is on the bluff overlooking the Dana Point Marina. You may want to stay and paint late afternoon light of the harbor, or stay for a nocturne, or do both. Take the 5 Fwy into the short freeway into Dana Point. Go up the hill on Coast Hwy through town and go L on Green Lantern to the end at the park above the bluff. Walk down the paths to where you can see the Harbor. Restrooms are down the hill on Cove Road at the Ocean Institute parking lot. Bring a good flashlight to walk back to your car when finished.

Oak Canyon Nature Center, Anaheim Hills

Address is 6700 E. Walnut Canyon Road, Anaheim. Take the 91 Fwy E towards Riverside, exit onto Imperial Hwy going S about 1/2 mile and left on Nohl Ranch Road. Go about 1 mile or so, watch for the Anaheim Hills Golf course sign. Just after, go L on Walnut Canyon Road. Go about a mile to the end at the Nature Center parking lot. Restrooms by the Lot. Paint the gnarly oaks in the Nature center, or the creek views down the paths.
