ENC "Art of Nature" Show and Sale Friday, 4/29 (5-8pm) and Sat/Sun, 4/30-5/1 (10am-4pm)
REGISTRATION is now open and continues through 4/16. (Space is limited to 30 artists so early registration is recommended). >> You MUST be an ACTIVE MEMBER (of SOCALPAPA) >> PLEASE READ all information (especially the Prospectus, link below) BEFORE you register - FEEs ARE CHARGED in order to complete your registration. About the Show: The show is held at the Environmental Nature Center (ENC) in Newport Beach and will showcase the beauty of nature throughout California's vast land, sea, and rural scapes. Hosted by SOCALPAPA and the ENC, the show includes paintings done by SOCALPAPA members of California scenes, and works done at our ENC sponsor's locations: Newport Beach ENC and/or Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary.
There are TWO parts to this show (for a single registration fee): 1) FRIDAY Evening Reception (4/29, 5-8pm) - Invitation-only event for Artists, Patrons and Collectors. This opening reception is the first viewing and preview sale for the show. For this evening, each artist is allowed to exhibit 2 pieces, and our sponsor ENC will do the display setup for the evening. Each of these paintings must be from either the ENC Newport grounds or the Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary location. (For public show on Saturday/Sunday, all California "nature" subjects are welcome.)
2) SAT/SUN Weekend Art Show and Sale (4/30-5/1) - Open to the Public. Artists can sign up for either Grid Display (must have their own grids) under canopied tents (provided by ENC) or they can set up with their own easels on Trail locations. Paintings can be any California "nature" subject matter. All active SOCALPAPA members are invited to exhibit and be part of this exciting, second-annual event!
